Modeled after design furnished by Raymond W. Thorp, author of The Bowie Knife. Probably the most nearly authentic Bowie type. Huge 13" blade of 1/4" stock.
Top cutting edge sharpened approximately 5.75". Brass forward bent double hilt. Scalloped brass collar and butt cap. Ivorite (ivory micarta) handle.
Exquisite piece. Purchased in the late 70's-early 80's, never used, never sharpened, never sheathed. Near mint condition; two small spots and a few fine scratches on blade. Blade Steel: High Carbon Steel
