Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This is a striking piece of art created around "The Lion King" theme! Mirror polished, sharply upswept blade is double edged. Bolsters are beautifully engraved by Julie Warensky and have gold accents. The elephant ivory scales are color scrimshawed on both sides by famed artist Sandy Brady.  Just breathtaking work. Mosaic pins.  This knife is perfect except for a small crack/check in the ivory at the rear that has been repaired  by Don Lozier in 1999.  We do not believe the crack with travel as it stops at the pin holes and has not changed in 14 years. About the Maker

Lozier, Don

Don Lozier first entered the knife community in 1991. He became a voting member of the Knifemakers' Guild in 1996. Don makes fixed blade knives of his own design using ATS 34, CPM 154, or damascus from Jerry Rados or Mike Norris. He makes daggers, fighters, Persian fighters, hunters, and boot daggers. On double edge pieces his specialty is freehand grinding using either a 1" or 2" diameter contact wheel, resulting in a pronounced spine, radical grind radius, and greater strength at the blade tip. Don's work appears frequently in various knife magazines, knife annuals, hardback books, and on covers. In addition, he has written several articles which were published in Blade magazine and Knives Illustrated. In all, Don's work has garnered 26 awards.
