Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Fabulous scale release dual action automatic custom made by Butch Vallotton and Jerry Rados to the owner's specifications. Rados Turkish Damascus blade and handle with mammoth tooth inlays. Liners are blue/gold anodized titanium with a liner lock. Vine filework on spine and liners. Abalone inserts on Damascus backspacer. Dual thumbstuds with blue sapphires. Strong automatic action and smooth manual opening. Stunning piece of functional art. Mint condition in original case with the oversleeve having a short note from Butch to the owner. About the Maker

Vallotton, Butch

Butch Vallotton is considered one of the finest automatic knifemakers specializing in double action autos and for converting manual folders into automatics. He started making knives full time in 1984, making his first auto in 1987. His assisted knife technology is in current use by Gerber, and he has worked with Spyderco and Microtech designing the very collectible Chameleon Double Action. Butch passed away in 2020.

Jerry Rados has been making knives since 1980 and Damascus steel since 1984. He is both nationally and internationally known for his skill and artistry. He has exhibited his pieces both in the U.S.A. and Europe.
