Overview
This Tony Bose Folding Hunter Prototype by Tom Ploppert features PM154 hand rub satin finished blades with nail nicks. The handle has stainless steel bolsters with integral liners, stag covers with stainless steel escutcheon, stainless steel springs. Lanyard tube in pommel. Includes a padded zippered case. Excellent condition.
Reese Bose patterned this knife from a Cattaragus 1079 and as a tribute to Tony.

It’s a Cattaraugus 1079 Hunter.
This was a knife on Tony Bose's desk he wanted to work on. Unfortuntely he passed before he was able to build it.
Reese Bose patterned it and as a tribute to Tony he named it the "Old Dog" Folding Hunter. And shared the pattern with Tom. This is Tom's Prototype and I’m not aware he built another. No half stops like the original.
