Overview
This SM-100 fixed blade features a unique heat colored finish, a blade thickness of .165" and a blade depth of 1.400". Comes in a black, kydex sheath. Excellent condition.
Below is what the maker has to say about the knife:
I designed this fixed-blade for Ran Fiennes’ historic winter Antarctic crossing along with Kobold Expedition Tools and have slightly refined it since then (we affectionately call it the Little Bastard). Their main concerns were corrosion resistance and the ability to be easily sharpened in the field. The blade is SM-100 (60 HRC) which is a nickel-titanium guaranteed never to corrode in salt water and readily sharpens. The colored oxide pattern makes it as unique as a fingerprint. It also weighs 20% less than steel and is completely non-magnetic – which makes it a great tactical tool.
