The blade is this with an aggressive distal taper, yielding a thin dress knife that disappears into the pocket. The blade has smooth action with a half stop. It is easily opened using the right-handed thumb nick.
Black and white ebony handle scales are vacuum stabilized. Black and white ebony (Diospyros malabarica) is a distinctive, rare true ebony, that grows in Southeast Asia and Laos. This variety of ebony has black variegations flowing through a pale background. It is an incredible wood with amazing contrast. The back spring is 1080 carbon steel, tempered to Hrc 48. Liners and fluted bolsters are 410 stainless steel.
