Overview
"I tried to make a different style than anybody else. I start out with a solid bar of damascus, I carve it out for the blade and the mechanism is very simple. It uses a small, very strong steel pin, and I cover it with damascus. On the top, it's actually Damascus but I heat it very long so it becomes as hard as steel. In doing that I lose the pattern. The process of making this takes three times longer than the regular assembly line style of folders."
When opened fully, the lock will engage and you can feel the blade snap into place. The lockup is firm but easy to disengage when you want to close the knife.
Knife is fully made of Damascus. Has a rhinocerous inlaid or etched onto the handle, not sure which. Excellent condition.
