Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Layaway Information

Layaway Policies

We offer a layaway plan on select products so you may pay for your order over a period of 60 days. Products that are eligible for layaway will show "Layaway Available: Yes" on the product page.

Here's how it works:

The total amount of the order excluding shipping, tax, or fees is divided into three (3) equal payments. The first payment is due with the order, the second payment is due 30 days later, and the final payment is due 60 days after the order.

There is a $15 non-refundable fee for layaway orders. This fee is added to the first payment along with the shipping and any tax. The first payment is made when the order is placed.

Example: Your order total is $300 plus $12.75 shipping and handling. If you select the layaway option, your payments would be:

  • $127.75 (1/3 of purchase = $100 + $15 layaway fee + $12.75 shipping)
  • $100.00 (1/3 of purchase = $100)
  • $100.00 (1/3 of purchase = $100)

If your initial payment is made by credit card, we will automatically process the 2nd and 3rd payments at the appropriate time using the same credit card information. You will be reminded via email that a payment will be charged. If you need to change this for any reason, please contact us.

For payments made other than credit card, payment must be received within seven (7) days of the due date or the order is subject to cancellation. You will receive a reminder via email that a payment is due.

If you wish to complete payment early and have your order shipped, you may contact us at any time during the 60 day period. There is no penalty for prepayment.

Additional products may be added to a layaway order without penalty. A new payment schedule will be calculated based on when additional products are added.

Cancellations of layaway orders are subject to a restocking/processing fee of 10% of the order total (not including tax and shipping costs). This restocking fee is in addition to the $15 non-refundable layaway fee.

The RANGER is a full size camp/survival knife that features a traditional drop point tip.

ROGAN knives are made to have a thin profile for easy carry. Our signature chisel grind is strong, easy to sharpen and ambidextrous.

With its comfortable ergonomics and robust design, it’s sure to be a long-time companion while venturing into the outdoors, every day carry or on the job.

The included molded kydex sheath comes with a belt clip and will also accept any clip/mount on the market. The sheath can also be lashed to molle or a backpack strap with paracord. Our sheaths are designed to have a full grip on the knife as you deploy it. This means there is no readjustment needed so you can get to the task at hand quickly and effortlessly. Clip can be mounted in a variety of locations for left and right hand carry.

About the Maker

ROGAN tools are designed and made by owner Mike Rogan. Mike was an avid primitive camper and broke several knives while using them for tasks that you should never use a knife for such as batoning logs, digging, prying and hammering in tent stakes. Mike made his first “beater-bar” to handle those tasks that normally broke his knives. It was a simple design, a 1/4 in x 1 in x 8 in bar with a pry tip on one end and a lanyard hole on the other. In 2003, Mike’s brother, a USMC EOD Tech, was deployed to Iraq and later Afghanistan. He was issued a bayonet to dig with. These bayonets would dull quickly and eventually snap with hard use. He asked Mike to send him the beater bar he made himself for camping. After using it for a couple weeks, Mike’s brother requested that he send more of them over for his friends to use. Roughly 60 of these bars were made and sent over to help out EOD Techs that his brother knew. Mike was apprehensive to start another business because he failed 6 times before at other businesses he tried. His “never give up” attitude and passion for working with his hands kept him going. Mike started vending at local gun shows and would consistently sell out. Over time, Mike was able to quit his full time job at the hardware store and focus on his passion for making quality tools for professionals. Today, ROGAN Tools can be found world wide. Dealers are located in the UK, France, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea. New dealers are being picked up regularly. ROGAN also makes tools for US Customs and Border Protection, FBI, ATF, USMC as well as local and state law enforcement. ROGAN continues to upgrade machinery and is always working on new designs to provide you with the very best in prybar/demolition tools. ROGAN products are proudly made in the USA.
