Overview
This antique sword cane features an etched blade by Toledo. The cane is made from wood and the handle is missing whatever ball adorned the top of the handle. The blade has a folding spring guard that comes out when the blade is removed from the sheath. It also appears that it is missing some button mechanism and maybe a metal ring between the sheath and the handle, based on other versions I've seen. Has some oxidation, patina and scratches, overall fair/poor condition for its age. NOTE: the closed length will refer to the length when the sword is sheathed in the cane. The overall length is just that of the sword and handle. Believed to be German made, and from early/mid 1800s
