I love my job and I'd like to think that my products reflect that. I've always had a thing for nice leather and watches and in the Summer of 2005 those two passions (obsessions perhaps???) happened to merge. Blessed with large wrists, standard leather straps never fit quite right. At the time, there just weren't very many custom options, and after several disappointing experiences with some after-market, off-the-shelf products, I decided to build my own strap. I paid a visit to a local leather shop, bought a couple of knives, some glue, some leather remnants, and went to work. After a few days and several failed attempts I ended up with something that I could actually wear and didn't look like it was part of a 3rd grade after school craft project (no offense to 3rd grade after school craft project coordinators). The rest, as they say, is history. My design philosophy is straightforward--I like simplicity and functionality. My products are well-made, simple, classic. I use the best materials that I can lay my hands on and build my products with time-honored, old-world techniques. I like to think that my watch straps and other items have character, substance, functionality, and are a nice departure from a world full of sterile, mass-produced, machine-made products that you see everywhere today. Today, I'm proud to say that I've sold thousands of straps and other items (you really ought to try my belts) to thousands of satisfied collectors from all walks of life living all over the world. While my passion has evolved from a simple hobby into a full-time business I consider myself an enthusiast first and pursue my business from that perspective. I still get excited about finding new leathers and developing new ideas. I don't just want you to like my products, I want you to love them. I currently live with my beautiful wife and three kids in Utah, USA.
