Overview
The Ti-Lock is a unique collaboration between Chris Reeve and the brilliant minds of Grant and Gavin Hawk. It's defining feature is the Ti-Lock, a titanium bar built into the blade that falls neatly into place when open. The same titanium thumb stud acts as both the opening and closing mechanism for the knife. This version of the Ti-Lock is an annual computer graphic known as "Elemental".
The blade of the Ti-Lock is fully tumbled piece of CPM-S35VN with a darkened titanium lock bar attached for both aesthetic and function. It's spear point blade has a hollow grind with a razor sharp polished edge applied. A dual thumb stud which has been anodized bronze is present for both opening and closing this knife.
Much like the original Ti-Lock, this knife has a full tumbled titanium handle. For this limited yearly graphic though, Chris Reeve chose to mill a honeycomb pattern into both sides of the frame and inlaid a round piece of hematite on the front scale and dubbed it "Elemental". Another Hawk invention, a clothespin style clip is affixed to the rear of the knife for tip up right handed carry.
This TiLock is a collaborative design effort between Chris Reeve and Grant and Gavin Hawk. It features a tumble finished drop point blade with titanium top lock and lock release. The handle has been embellished with the "Elemental" pattern milled into the handle with a hematite inset over a single stand off. This one does NOT include the pocket clip. Includes original box, paperwork dated December 30, 2016, disassembly tools. Excellent condition.
