Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This ambidextrous bolster release auto by Richard Wright features a Damascus dagger blade with false top edge. The handle has matching Damascus bolsters that have been beautifully sculpted, abalone scales, fileworked and anodized titanium liners, carved fileworked and engraved anodized titanium backspacer with filework inside, mammoth ivory blade stop in the handle. Nice lockup, action and blade seating. This piece is very nice. Excellent condition. Dated 01/06 inside the liner. Comes with a zippered case.

About the Maker

"I have been making folding knives since 1991, at which time I created my first automatic. The folders I make are all one of a kind, but I do occasionally duplicate a style using designs that range from large folding fighters to small gents pocket knives. The mechanism in my knives is an ambidextrous bolster release. The materials include a variety of steels by such makers as Jerry Rados, Daryl Meier, Robert Eggerling and George Werth, however I do use other maker's steels when I find something that looks interesting, and I know that the quality of the steel will be reliable. I prefer to use natural materials such as Fossil Ivory, both Mammoth and Walrus, plus a variety of Pearl for scales or handles. I must admit that my knife making style has been heavily influenced by Bill McHenry and Jason Williams, both of whom originally started me making folding knives. Most of my life has been spent working as a machinist, toolmaker, welder and gunsmith. I became a full time knife maker in June of 2001."
