Overview
Information on this Bill Scagel piece comes to us through William D. Conrey."This knife has been in my possession since 1943. It was one of the prizes given to the winner of the National Duck Calling Contest that year. The winner (and world champion duck caller) was my father, Howard T. Conrey. All of this took place in Stuttgart, Arkansas."
The bade is made from 3/16" of an unknown forged steel. Full tang construction. It has 1 1/4" blade depth and a false top edge. The blade is marked with "W. Scagel Handmade" and the Scagel logo. The guard is made of brass, and the handle is made of an unknown wood.
