White, Robert "Butch"
Robert (Butch) Jennings White (1952-2014) held a degree in literature and art which noticeably influenced his knife making. He was a competent gun smith who worked with his father all his life, but he was primarily a very excellent knife maker. He forged his own Damascus with inspiration from Jerry Rados and Daryl Meir, both well known Illinois makers. Butch's mark for auto knives was a chess knight bust and for all other knives his last name in capital block letters.
