Spencer, Tiny
Rodger "Tiny" Spencer passed away in 2009. He served in the US Army and was an iron worker on the Alaska pipeline. He also guided wilderness hunts and fishing expeditions in Alaska. He was an accomplished taxidermist and founded the Alaska Wildlife Museum. In 1977, he moved to the Hawaiian islands, where he captained his marlin fishing boat, the Anuenue, for several years. In 1993, he moved to Astoria, Oregon to pursue a knife-making career. His knives have been collected by prominent business, political and entertainment figures throughout the world.
