Lunn, Larry
"I started collecting knives on a small scale in the 1960's. After realizing it was becoming very expensive, I decided that if I made a couple of knives and sold them, I could afford to buy better knives for my collection. After I made a couple of knives and sold them, my collecting days were over. I got sucked into a black hole and became a so called 'knife maker'. I spent a fortune buying equipment to forge with, taking classes in jewelry casting, engraving and traveling to seminars to learn fileworking and get tips from real knifemakers. I joined the ABS and eventually became a voting member of the Knifemakers Guild. Over the years I have been fortunate to learn from people like Rick Hinderer, Jim Schmidt, Reese Weiland, David Morton and Sam Alfano." Larry also collaborates with his wife, Gail Lunn.
