Burke Production Knives

Burke Production Knives is a new production knife company comprised of Custom Knife Maker Jim Burke and CNC specialist Lee Nottingham Jr.Jim has been making custom knives for about 17 years, staring out as a part-time maker and has moved on to full-time making. Jim draws on his background in Law Enforcement and Security Consulting to create purpose driven knife designs.Lee is the Production Manager and he has an extensive background as an Applications Engineer in CNC Programming & Prototyping as well as overseeing production runs of specialty parts (outside of the knife industry) for companies all across the Southern region of the United States.Lee uses his skills to build the knives and Jim inspects each knife as if it was one of his custom pieces and does final sharpening of each one before it leaves the shop.About a year and a half ago, they had the idea to get Burke Production knives started and after a lot of work they are proud to have debuted their first folder model, the Rockstar, at Blade Show 2008.
