"In 2013, we seriously started to think about our own brand and ways to enter the knife industry under our own name and gain trust in this large and fascinating niche as Custom Folding Knives. This is how our Custom Workshop “Nikolayev & Lukianov Knives”. A separate stage in our development was training for the steel heat treatment process and obtaining the best characteristics metal can give. With the help of engineering education and knowledge in metallurgy, we began to do heat treatment of our blades ourselves. All our custom knives are exclusively designed, manufactured, and assembled in our workshop."
