Hollinger, Bryant
I grew up on a cattle farm outside of Camden Alabama. After high school I attended Auburn University and earned a degree in Agricultural Business and Economics. My wife and I have two daughters and one son. We own and operate a small propane gas business. I do most of my knife making in the spring and summer when propane sales are slow. I made my first knife in 2010 and sold my first knife in 2014. I enjoy making traditional slipjoint folders, lockbacks, and hunting knives. My goal is to make finely handcrafted knives that will be used and handed down for generations. My favorite steels include CPM154, A2, S35VN and Magnacut. My handles are made from variety of materials including, stag, wood, bone, micarta, and mammoth ivory. I would like to thank my friends in the knife community that have helped me in my journey as a knife maker, Jeffery Mitchell, Matt Collum, Rick Menefee, Tom Ploppert and many others. My favorite thing about knife making is the great friends I have made both with customers as well as fellow knife makers.
