Espada, Juan
Our first go at it was about 15 years ago. We researched the basics on how to harden steel and what type of steel we could use for knife making, after that we knew we needed a forge so we stared to build a coal forge out of fire bricks and mortar in our back yard … that didn't last long. The guy who rented us the house saw us making it and made us take it down the same day. We kept on researching about it, we didn’t loose hope till one day we had a place to built a little shop again. This time we modified an old grill with some tubing and a hair dryer to make a coal forge. We got a railroad track to work as anvil from the junk yard and a couple of rusty leaf springs for our knife material while we were at it. From there on, we haven't stopped.
