Clark, CK
Even as a child, CK Clark understood the importance of innovation, creativity and craftsmanship. By watching his Grandpa build homes, lay brick and create structures, he learned the value of good tools and hard work. He and his brother would hang out in the garage with their Grandpa and before you knew it, Grandpa would be making them knives and swords out of scrap wood. It gave CK a great appreciation for taking raw materials and making them into something useful. CK was always fascinated with knives – as young as 8 years old, he was out in the woods with a knife by his side. Once he became a Rescue/Nitrox Certified Diver, he knew he wanted to create and carry his own knife while diving in zero visibility waters. CK then met his mentor RW Wilson, who soon became family. CK spent approximately eight years training with RW in RW’s shop in Weirton, WV. In 2015, CK began selling his work at gun/ knife shows across the U.S. CK Clark crafts one of a kind custom knives and sheaths for the knife enthusiast. Blades are handmade from 154CM, CPM154, AEBL, and 440C Stainless Steel. Sheaths are saddle stitched by hand and dyed from Hermann Oaks or vegetable-tanned leather. Each unique knife/sheath pair is precision-crafted to harmonize steel and leather in a tool as beautiful to behold as it is to use. CK Clark resides in Portsmouth, OH and is a Rescue/Nitrox, Advanced Open Water, and Open Water Certified Diver. When not making knives, he can be found exploring the ocean, rock quarries, and rivers; hiking; or hunting.
